Online support group

RISE hosts a monthly online support group for acid attack survivors living in the US.  It’s an opportunity for survivors to come together to share resources and provide support to one another.  The group is led by RISE board member and acid attack survivor Heike Roberson.

Are you an acid attack survivor who would like to learn more about this group or participate in a call?  Please contact Heike using the form on this page.

Annual retreat

We’ve had one so far and are planning to do it again!  Stay tuned for updates.

Are you an acid attack survivor living in the US?

We’d like to chat with you!

How?  Please fill out this short questionnaire!

Why? RISE is a US-based organization working to end acid attacks.  We started by providing support and resources to acid attack survivors and survivor organizations in Uganda.  But as we have grown and expanded our outreach to other countries, we have realized there are big needs for acid attack survivors in the US as well!  We’d like to chat with you to get your feedback on services that are most needed for acid attack survivors living in the US.

Who will receive your information?  Your message will be sent to RISE Board Member and acid attack survivor Heike Roberson.

What will happen after I fill out the questionnaire?  If you’re willing, RISE Board Member and acid attack survivor Heike Roberson will contact you to chat!  Otherwise, just know that you are helping RISE understand more about services needed for acid attack survivors in the US.

Where can I learn more about RISE? Check out our Mission & Vision pageServices page, and Our Team page for more about who we are and what we do!
