President, RISE BU

Jannat is a sophomore at Boston University who is pursuing a major in medical science with a minor in Spanish. She first began advocating for acid attack victims after volunteering in a medical camp in India, and this experience inspired her to start a RISE chapter at Boston University in 2021.
Jannat serves on the executive board of the Sikh Association at Boston University, and she is also a small group leader in CHAARG, an empowering wellness community for girls. Jannat also co-founded Boston Youth Pathways to Healthcare, a non-profit dedicated to inspiring and empowering underserved youth from the greater Boston area who have an interest in pursuing a career in healthcare.
Jannat is a student in the Seven-Year Accelerated Medical Program at Boston University, and she enjoys practicing calligraphy and choreographing contemporary dances in her free time.
